I really like Ty Lee, she's an interesting character who hasn't been beaten yet (in a real fight I mean). I like how even though she's with Azula, she's happy and herself, not a soldier. Also, I like how she and Mai are opposites, but still friends.

Another thing to add, is that I am elated to see what kind of character development the creators have given to Ty-Lee. I am anxious to know if there is anymore to her almost always cheery nature.

That's one of the things I'm looking forward to most. That is why most people say that they don't like her (and Mai), because they have no character development. I wanna see what lies behind her pink nature and cheery attitude, and see what makes her human.

Agreed. I expect a good deal of character development from her and what lies beneath.
